Can I put food in it?

Yes. Fruit, nuts, bread or snacks. Wash it by hand afterwards.

Can it go in the dishwasher?

No. Wash it by hand with a little soap and dry it straight away. Soaking or the dishwasher can crack solid wood.

Why does mine look different from the photo?

Walnut grain and colour vary from piece to piece, so every bowl is a little different.

How big is it?

16 cm / 6.3 in across and about 4.5 cm / 1.8 in high. Enough for a few mandarins or a handful of nuts.

A few things worth knowing before it arrives.

Should I oil it?

If it starts to look dry, rub in a little food-safe oil and wipe off the excess.

Can I put washed fruit in it?

Dry the fruit first. Water left standing in a wooden bowl can mark it.

Will it crack?

Solid wood moves with humidity. Keep it away from radiators and out of standing water.

Does it come in other sizes?

Only 16 cm / 6.3 in for now.
