Body
Stoneware
Dense and heavy — nine pounds of it, which is why the vase doesn't move when an arrangement leans.
STONEWARE · 14.8 INWeathered surface
Each one finished alone · Bare clay rim
A round-bellied stoneware vase in grey and white, with a weathered chalky surface that looks as though it has been somewhere before. Nearly fifteen inches tall and almost as wide across the belly — the proportion for branches and dried stems rather than a tight bouquet.

14.8 in / 37.5 cm tall and 13.8 in / 35 cm across the belly. The mouth is 8.3 in / 21 cm and the base 7.1 in / 18 cm.
It's stoneware with an unglazed rim, made for dried stems and branches. If you use fresh flowers, stand a liner or a glass inside it.
That's the finish — a chalky weathered surface applied by hand. Each vase is mottled differently, and the bare clay shows warm at the rim.
Under cover, yes — a porch or a covered terrace. It isn't made to sit out in frost and rain.
Rustic Stoneware Vase
A round-bellied stoneware vase in grey and white, with a weathered chalky surface that looks as though it has been somewhere before. Each one is finished individually, so the mottling falls differently every time and the bare clay rim shows warm against it.
Nearly fifteen inches tall and almost as wide across the belly — the proportion for branches and dried stems rather than a tight bouquet. Nine pounds of stoneware, so it will not tip when the arrangement leans.
Free shipping on every order, wherever you are. No minimum, no handling fee at checkout.
Orders are prepared in 1–3 business days. Delivery then takes 3–7 business days from a US warehouse, or 7–20 from an overseas workshop. Tracking arrives by email, and an order with several pieces can turn up in more than one parcel.
Changed your mind? You have thirty days. Return shipping within the US is on us.
We work with solid wood, stone, glass and natural fibre, chosen for how they age rather than how they photograph. Every piece is finished by hand, so grain, tone and outline shift from one to the next.
A QUIET OBJECT
Fifteen inches of belly asks for branches, not a bouquet. Three bare stems, a spray of eucalyptus, pampas left all winter — the weight of the piece does the work, so the arrangement can be almost nothing and still look deliberate.

MATERIAL & MAKING
Stoneware, a chalky surface and a rim left bare.
Body
Dense and heavy — nine pounds of it, which is why the vase doesn't move when an arrangement leans.
Surface
A chalky grey and white finish worked by hand, so it looks aged rather than new.
Detail
The clay is left unglazed at the mouth, warm against the cooler grey of the body.
Unique
Where the mottling falls is decided piece by piece. Yours will not match the photograph exactly.
FROM THE WORKSHOP
“We finish each one on its own, which is slower and means we can never promise you an exact match. What you get instead is a vase that looks like it has a history, not like it came off a line this morning.

GOOD TO KNOW
A few things worth knowing before it arrives.
The mouth measures 8.3 in / 21 cm and the base 7.1 in / 18 cm, so it takes thick branches as easily as thin stems.
Dried and branches are what it's made for. For fresh, drop a glass or a plastic liner inside and fill that instead.
It's a matte weathered surface, so it will mark if you drag it across grit. Lift rather than slide and it stays as it arrived.
The shape and scale, yes. The mottling, no — that falls differently on every piece.
Dust it, or wipe with a barely damp cloth. Don't scrub the surface and don't put it in a dishwasher.

Made by hand
Every piece is shaped, sanded and finished in a small workshop. Grain, tone and outline move from one to the next, so the piece that arrives is yours rather than a copy of the photograph.
