How long does one coil burn?

About two hours, working from the outer end inwards. You can see how much is left at a glance.

Which scent should I pick?

Agarwood is the warm, resinous one and mourning cypress the dry, woody one. Wormwood is bitter and herbal. Lemon citronella is the one for a summer evening outdoors.

Do I need a holder?

A flat heatproof dish is enough — the coil lies down rather than standing up. Ash collects underneath as it goes.

Can I put it out halfway?

Yes. Press the burning end gently against the dish and relight it another day where it stopped.

A few things worth knowing before it arrives.

How do I light it?

Light the outer end, let it flame for a few seconds, then blow it out so it glows. Lay it flat on a heatproof dish.

Does it need a special burner?

No. Any flat heatproof dish works, as long as ash can fall clear underneath.

Is the smoke heavy?

Less than a stick of the same burn time, because it burns slower. Still, keep a window ajar in a small room.

Can I use it outside?

Yes, in still air. Lemon citronella is the one people choose for a table outdoors.

How many coils come in a box?

What arrives is packed ready to give — check the option you picked at checkout for the scent.
