A pair does what a single vase can't. Stand them together and you get depth from the difference in height; put one at each end of a shelf and they bracket everything in between. Three stems in each is plenty.

A few things worth knowing before it arrives.

Can I buy just one?

They're sold as a pair. The two heights are what make the arrangement work.

Are they identical apart from size?

Same form and finish, different scale. The speckle falls differently through each one.

What stems suit them?

Two or three per vase — a single branch, tulips, dried grasses. Anything bushy fights the ring shape.

How do I clean inside?

Warm water and a bottle brush. Empty them out between arrangements so nothing stains the inside.

Can they go outdoors?

Keep them inside. The surface is unglazed and will take on weather marks outside.

Every piece is shaped, sanded and finished in a small workshop. Grain, tone and outline move from one to the next, so the piece that arrives is yours rather than a copy of the photograph.
